With constant hookah usage, your hookah parts are going to experience wear and tear. You may also want to improve the way your hookah pulls the smoke or how it burns the shisha. There are countless hookah accessories available to meet the needs of your hookah, we are going to explain the different types of hookah accessories available today and how each work to improve your hookah smoking experience.
Here are some of the most basic hookah accessories available:
Hookah Foil: These pre-cut pieces of foil facilitate the making of a hookah, you don’t have to guess how big the piece of foil needs to be to cover the bowl anymore!
Hookah Trays: These are the metal trays you see below the bowl and serve as retainers for the ashes of the coals. They also prevent the coals from falling on the ground if the hookah is pushed.
Hookah Tongs: For handling the hot coals, this accessory is crucial for your hookah experience. Otherwise you’re stuck with two forks and that isn’t safe at all.
Hookah Wind Cover: This accessory is perfect if you want to enjoy your hookah outside, it prevents the coals from getting hit by the wind and spilling or burning faster. I use it indoors sometimes if my fan is on high!
Hookah Coal Holder: Once you have a few hookahs served, you’ll need to constantly replace hookah coals. Especially if you run or operate a hookah lounge! This is a very important part of your hookah.
Charcoal Screen: Instead of using foil to make your hookahs, you can use this to make your life easier. These screens go between the bowl and the coals, they act as a perfect replacement for the foil we mentioned above. I ordered three of these!
Hookah Carrying Bags: When you go to a friends house, transporting a tall hookah is difficult. Some hookahs already include a carrying bag, bust most of them do not. I suggest you get one that matches your hookah if you want to transport your hookah safely.
Hookah Base Protectors: If you have an expensive hookah (types of hookahs) you might want to invest in a protector for the base. Especially if your hookah is hand painted! The base is where most of the contact comes from and it can crack when set down hard on the table.
Hookah Decorations: Connecting from the top of the screen, these decorations are incredible. They are long crowns that are surely going to separate your hookah from the rest!
Foil Screen Pincher: When you are using foil to make your hookah, you have to poke holes on the foil so the heat burns the shisha, this pincher does it all for you. It’s a flat plastic piece with many piercing lines to make the holes the foil needs to breathe properly.
Hookah Mouth Tips: If you don’t like to share someone’s saliva, I recommend you get a pack of these. They help with keeping your hookah hose clean and free or germs from other people. Especially a good idea if they are sick!
